Apologies!!

Hi guys, long time no see!

I can only apologise for my time away from my lovely blog, it’s been a few months since I last posted and I have really missed this place!! I hope you have still been catching up with me on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.  If not go follow me now so you never miss out on hearing me talk about poo.  Seriously, follow me on all social media and I can follow you around the web shouting celebratory chants about your body, interesting poop facts and flashing my scars at you, it’ll be BRILLIANT!!!

So what’s been going on in my absence? Well, I am working full time with the wonderful disability charity Scope as their Online Community Officer and for the past couple of months, I have been acting up into the manager’s role and so it has kept me really busy! I LOVE my job, it means I get to chat with people all day long, listen to them and help support them, and Scope are such a great company to work for.

I work remotely from home, and to be honest, if they hadn’t offered me this option, there is no way I would be able to do the job.  It’s great to work for someone who actually understands disability and wants to support you in any way they can.

The other reason I have been a bit crap on the blog is a bit of a rubbish reason, but it has taught me a lesson.  I realised just how much I used my phone to update my blog and in May this year, I got mugged in London and had my phone stolen.  It really shook me up, two men on a motorbike mounted the pavement and drove right up to me, the one on the back shoved me against a wall and snatched my phone and the other drove them away.  It was pretty scary!  So since getting a new phone, I have had some access issues and haven’t been able to easily log in.

These two things combined with a ridiculous level of fatigue has meant this place has been pushed to the bottom of the priority pile.  But no more!

I will be updating at least a couple of times a week and I am rather excited to let you know that I have some big vlogging plans afoot, so hopefully you will be able to see and hear me ranting away in my Northern dulcet tones!

Love to you all

Sam xx
