Riksack review – ostomy products
I reviewed the Riksack recently for Stomaworks, it’s a product to help users change an ostomy bag with less mess and more ease.
Take a look…

Love your posts and your videos Sam.
You do a fab job of normalising life with stomas and illness and are an inspiration to those of us who’ve felt ashamed of both.
Keep up the good work 🙂
This is unbelievably brilliant ! The product is great ,but what an amazing amabassador you are ! I have shown my friend who suffered from breast and ovarian cancer last year , which had gone around her bowel,. A young friend also has an osteomyelitis. She lives in the us and I share this blog with her. Thank you for being so brave , you are helping so many people. I’m soory for your ill health, but you were perhaps ‘ chosen’ to lead people down this path !!
Love the idea behind the Riksack and clothing belt. Looks a bit big and cumbersome for me to use. I would need bigger bag to carry around all day,but like the “bum” bag idea.
Keep up the good work
The riksack is good, and I am glad I got one, but it’s still a bit difficult if you have mobility problems. At the moment I am finding that because I have to use it sat down the plastic liner can get stuck on the flange of the new bag, something that I guess doesn’t happen if you can stand, however I am sure that practice will make perfect.
I can’t actually imagine carrying this around. But I like the concept – maybe a tad smaller to fit into my handbag so I can carry around with me at work/etc or in the form of a sack, rather than a bucket!
